Umrah, answered plainly
- How far in advance should I book?
- Six to eight weeks is comfortable for most seasons. Ramadan and the last ten nights sell out far earlier — often four to six months ahead — because hotel allocation near the Haram is limited.
- What does "distance to the Haram" actually mean?
- Walking distance from the hotel entrance to the nearest Haram gate, in metres. It is the number we lead with because it is what changes your day: 200 m means you walk to every prayer, 1,400 m means you depend on a shuttle.
- Is the price per person or per room?
- Per person, always, and the sharing basis is stated on every package. Quad sharing means four to a room; double sharing costs more per person because the room cost is split two ways.
- Do you handle the Umrah visa?
- Yes. Visa processing is included in every package. We will tell you exactly which documents are needed once you confirm.
- Which hotel will I actually get?
- Each star band has seven Makkah hotels, each paired with one in Madinah, and all fourteen are named on the hotels page with their walking distances. Your quote is built on the first pairing in that band, and the specific pairing is confirmed in writing before you pay. If it is full you are offered one of the other six — same band, and if it is further from the Haram we tell you the new figure and ask first.
- Can I customise a package?
- Yes — the hotel pairing, sharing basis and dates can all be adjusted. If you want a specific property from the list, ask for it by name. Request a quote and tell us what you need in the notes.
- What is not included?
- It varies by package and is listed in full on each package page. Typically: travel insurance, passport fees, meals beyond those stated, and personal expenses.
